sit on top or sit inside used for fishing i had a jon boat but i sucked crap so i want something smaller that can get to places that my jon boat couldnt get to

I’m a kayak fisherman with an sit-on-top Emotion fisherman kayak. I have a cheap seat and I have tried a $100.00 seat before which I took back. While I fish my lower back gets sore I’m sure a more expensive seat will make my butt comfortable but my back needs support, maybe its the way I sit but I usually shove something behind my lower back to act like a lumbar in a car seat for relief. I’m 6’0 tall 215 lbs thick athletic build. All the seats I look at don’t seem to have any kind of lower back support. I usually quit fishing because my back gets so tired so any kind of advice would help. Thanks for your answers.

New to kayaking. Im looking for a tandem kayak that is affordable, I will be using it for mostly fishing. I am just having trouble finding a used and/or affordable one. I cant see myself spending over $700 on basically a hull… I have looked at the pelican elite but i havent seen any reviews on the elite series and its not really made for fishing. I also am not that worried about tracking I paddled 7 miles on a $100 inflatable and Im sure anything is better than an inflatable,not to mention hook resistant. And what is better sit on top or sit in? Thanks…..

Looking for a Kayak but am not sure which model to go with.

New to Kayaking and looking for a tandem kayak to be used on lakes / rivers and possible inter coastal, recreational use and fishing
Not sure which way to go. Solo won’t work. Need either a Tandem Kayak or go with Canoe (not a huge fan of canoes)

Need multipurpose for the family but preferably fishing when possible. Can go with recreational model but outfit it if possible – not just add a rod holder. Want it to still look cool.

Will use on lakes – small river and possible inter coastal in South Carolina.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Budget conscious so please no .. Hobie responses. I would love to get one if I could. I can’t.

Has anyone hear of Crescent Kayaks? If so, am looking for real reviews.

Better Kayak? Ascend FS12T or FS10?

im trying to figure out whether i should get the ascend fs12t sit on top angler kayak or the ascend fs10 sit in angler kayak.i mainly do canal,lake,pond,creek freshwater fishing but in the summer i switch over to backwater saltwater fishing.i want something that is going to be sturdy for me to put a bunch of things in (cooler etc…) but i also want it to be somewhat quick(not going for fast just average).i am 18 years old 6’2″ and weight about 175.what is the better choice?
