I am looking for a landing net for kayak fishing. It has to be compact with a handle that is not too long – maybe something collapsible or telescoping.
Any ideas.

in theory, would a fixed spool spinning reel fit on the reel seat of a one handed trigger kayak fishing rod?
I know that they are designed to be used eyes up, with a multiplier/baitcaster type reel, however I just prefer to use a fixed spool if it would fit onto the reel seat of a kayak rod.
