I am going tonight for a couple of hours on the lake in the backyard (Brockway Lake) and then this weekend on the Big Muskegon river Putting in at Ulrich park in Big Rapids going to take the kayak out for a day trip down the river to Hardy Dam in Newaygo. Don’t really care what I catch as long as I’m catching something!

PITX5 Post author I am probably going surf fishing for red-tailed perch and Stripers on the Northern California coast. Should be fun, although as any fisherman/woman will tell you “The worst day fishing is better than the best day working!” Have fun and relax you all!

brankster2004 Post author I went surf fishing in Vero Beach, FL this afternoon. I didn’t last long though, 30 knots winds out of the northeast & 5 foot breakers made it almost impossible to cast, not to mention it was like standing next to a sandblaster.

M V Post author I may go next weekend, but not this one; its the “fishing opener” here for walleye and northern pike in Minnesota and every Larry, Darryl, and Darryl will be out. I prefer peace and quiet when fishing. Bass season opens in two weeks, and musky in 3.
