Its not cheap but a Wilderness Systems Pungo is perfect for what you want to do. I am 6’2″ and 230 lbs. and I use the 14 foot version without feeling crowded. Mine is the lightweight version and I don’t recommend that. Its less rigid and that hurts performance more than being 10 pounds lighter than the regular version. If you are going to be in waves its worth using a spray skirt. My Pungo is set up with 2 rod holders for trolling, an electronic fish finder and a paddle leash for fishing. The leash is important for safety and convenience. When fighting a big fish you just drop the paddle and don’t worry about it falling overboard.
