Ok, here is an overview. I want a kayak that a novice like me can handle but isn’t counted as a “newb” ‘yak. I want something that I can fish in the local bays and bayous. I plan to catch redfish and trout. I need something that is under $750 cuz I only have $380 collected right now :(. I need something that can store my tackle and some food maybe.

they are very good… rod holders are included and you can always add racks for depth sounders etc.
they come with attachable seats for better paddling and for comfort when fishing
outlaws are even better and hold more gear but are bigger and are two person
I have the Ocean Kayak Prowler 13′ http://www.oceankayak.com/kayaks/angler_editions/prowler_trident_13_angler.html
It has the built in fishing rod holders, although to be honest it’s an easy modification to any kayak to add them for like $40.
I love my kayak and yes I do fish from it…. Redfish are one of my favorites to catch. The Ocean Kayak is a little more money then you want to spend… but don’t believe the website “suggested retail” price… I paid $800 for mine at a Bass Pro Shop.
