I am about 90 lbs and 4 foot 11 inches. I Own Waders with boots and have been fishing for a while. I have about 200$ to spend and need a new way to fish. So should I get an inflatable boat, inflatable Canoe, inflatable kayak, inflatable float tube, or an inflatable pontoon to go fishing with
An inflatable fishing tube They work great! Hope i helped!! Good Luck!!!
anything inflatable is not good for fishing what if a hook pokes a hole in it
I have a 12 ft Jon boat. It works great. Weighs less than 100lbs and needs less than a foot of water.
I have always wanted one of those float tubes, but never did. I do have a 14 foot two seat hard kayak that is great to fish from. This thing is almost impossible to tip over. I think I would like to try the inflatable kayak for fishing to see how it compares.
You will be unhappy with any inflatable boat, canoe and kayak for fishing. Either buy a “U” boat or pontoon boat from either Cabellas or Bass Pro Shops.
Cabellas pontoon boats: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/common/search/search-results1.jsp?_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1&selectedPerPage=&hasJS=true&_D%3AhasJS=+&_D%3Asort=+&sort=all&Ntt=pontoon+boat&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form1
A “U” float tube will be the best bet for small ponds and even big lakes on calm days. At your height the models with extra high seats will give a problem with getting a good bite with fins. I have been using a Kennebec for the past 6 years. It is comfortable, stable and rides low on the water. The only negative is that the large wet surface makes it slower than my friends tubes. Shop around for an inflatable life preserver like a SOS model manual operated. Automatics are a poor choice for a tuber. Then invest the rest of your budget in a tube.
